Loni Tyler, Founder & Operator
Modified Canine is founded by experienced dog trainer and behaviorist, Loni Tyler, who has spent her entire career working with puppies, dogs and other dog trainers. Her core beliefs regarding training include focusing on an early start with puppies and maintaining a consistent, safe, and thoughtful approach to behavior.
Loni has successfully trained hundreds of dogs and has extensive experience with raising puppies, training personal protection dogs, working dogs, dock dogs, splash dogs, and more.
Additional experience includes running doggy daycare programs, a decade of training with Partners Dog Training, managing Rattlesnake Avoidance Programs, and working with Puppies ’N Love and Animal Kingdom as a both a Manager and Animal Behaviorist, leading the company to be extremely conscientious about puppy enrichment, socialization and training by developing a robust Puppy Enrichment Program.
Loni specializes in the puppy development and has vast knowledge of the critical training and socialization that puppies should receive. Her passion for properly raising puppies has helped so many people learn about responsible pet ownership, but she says it’s never too late to start.
She partners with many trainers around Arizona to help serve dogs in need and opening Modified Canine is yet another way she can partner with her trusted friends in the industry to help even more people find success with her pets.
Modified Canine works as a partnership with Monika of Logical K9 where the two of them work together at a customized residence sitting on an acre in the valley. Both Monika has many years of experience in dog training and her own specialties including raising puppies, behavioral training, working/service, and police dogs.
